Boston, MA – Three-Vehicle Wreck on I-95 at Newton Wellesley Exit

Boston, MA (August 16, 2024) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a multi-vehicle accident that occurred in the Boston area. The collision took place at around 1010 a.m. on August 14.

Police reports show that a semi-truck tractor-trailer and two additional vehicles collided on Interstate 95. The incident blocked the north side of the roadway near exit 37 at Newton Wellesley. Emergency crews immediately shut down the road to prevent further damage. Emergency medical services responded to care for injured victims and transport them to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
