Boston, MA – Two Hurt in Crash on I-90 near Beacon St Overpass

Boston, MA (October 6, 2024) – Two construction workers were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred early Saturday morning, October 5. The Massachusetts State Police responded to the scene at around 2:30 a.m.

Reports show that a group of individuals were working in a work zone on Interstate 90 West when a Nissan Pathfinder entered the area and struck a scissor lift that two of the workers were using. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near the Beacon Street overpass. Two of the workers were transported to area hospitals for emergency medical care. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Pedro Campos, was arrested for operating the vehicle under the influence. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
