Bourne, MA – Four Hurt in Car Crash on Scenic Hwy near Edgehill Rd

Bourne, MA (September 18, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Bourne on Tuesday afternoon left several people hurt. The police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40 p.m. on September 17.

Reports show that multiple vehicles collided on a scenic highway near Edgehill Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and located a white SUV, a white minivan, and one additional vehicle blocking the road. The involved vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to the extent of damage. Four people involved in the crash were injured and transported to area hospitals for emergency care. A large dog was fatally injured and pronounced deceased by authorities. Two additional victims refused treatment at the scene. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
