Carlisle, MA (July 17, 2024) – A young boy was flown to an area hospital with significant injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday evening, July 15. Multiple calls for assistance came in just before 7:30 p.m. regarding a motor vehicle accident on North Road.

Official reports indicate that two vehicles collided on the roadway near Rutland Street. The impact of the crash caused a 6-year-old boy to be ejected from their vehicle. The boy was severely injured in the accident. He was airlifted and flown by med flight to Boston Children’s Hospital for emergency care. He was admitted with critical injuries. Multiple other victims were treated for injuries at the scene. At this time, the Carlisle Police Department is investigating.
