Lakeville, MA – Five Hurt in Three-Vehicle Wreck on Myricks St

Lakeville, MA (August 14, 2024) – Five people were injured as a result of a major motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday morning, August 11, in the Lakeville area.

At around 11:20 a.m., a collision involving a blue Tacoma pickup truck, a black minivan, and one additional vehicle occurred at the intersection of Myricks Street and Kingman Street. The impact of the crash caused the Tacoma to overturn and come to rest on its roof. Authorities rushed to the scene and immediately shut down the road to prevent further damage. Five people involved in the collision, including two pediatric patients, were injured. Two adult females, one adult male, and a pediatric patient were all transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford for emergency treatment. The second pediatric patient was transported to Morton Hospital in Taunton for medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
